Tijereta

Hola chicos, este es un post especial para primer grado. En el cuento que leímos ayer "El ladrón" de Martin Blasco, de su libro "Cinco problemas para don Caracol", el personaje principal era una tijereta. Aquí entonces la presento para quienes no la conocían:

How to make plastic out of warm milk and vinegar

Hey kids! It is science time. I am sharing with you an experiment i found. Maybe you could try it at home with a little help from your parents.
The idea is that you can make plastic out of milk and vinegar. Yes, as crazy as that sounds. Just make sure the milk is warm and that you dry the mix really well before you start giving it shape, Oh! and be patient with it, let the shapes you make dry properly before you start plying with them, otherwise they will break.  Just put your goggles on and start experimenting!

Happy as a Hippo!

Oh my god!! Isn´t he the cutest thing you have ever seen? I saw this video and i just HAD to share it :) I love Hippos and what can be more loveable than a baby hippo? These "river horses" are just too adorable.
And because i am a little bit of a nerd i will just add a link to the San Diego zoo page with some info about these marvellous animals.
PS: If you do read the info in the link you will find out why i just called them "River horses" :)  http://animals.sandiegozoo.org/animals/hippo
